Sukanta has close to 14 years experience in development and delivery of eLearning, Web or portal solutions, and application software. With over 7 years of experience in eLearning and having played multiple roles like a multimedia programmer, a functional manager, and a project manager, he is adept in technology resource administration. He has distinct abilities in managing and guiding project teams in delivering projects within pre-set budgets and schedules. "I believe online learning or eLearning will rapidly become the most effective way of educating and training the world's ever expanding workforce in the next decade."
Prior to Sify, he has seen and been part of typical growth profiles in two eLearning MNCs, as they successfully established their credibility to their overseas (US) peers. During his stint with Convergys Learning (formerly DigitalThink), he contributed in transitioning several processes and activities to the offshore development center. He was also instrumental in setting up the offshore global support center for the eLearning customers. He brings in substantial experience in multinational corporate culture, work ethics, and offshore/onsite development practices, having managed cross-functional and cross-location teams that deliver cutting-edge eLearning and Web solutions to customers across North America and Europe. |
