Venkata Rao Mallineni took over as the President - Sify Software Limited, a full owned subsidiary of Sify Technologies in March 2010. He was earlier Head, Portals and Consumer Marketing, Sify. He joined the company in September 2006 as Advisor, Business Strategy, Enterprise Solutions, handling the Enterprise Solutions product portfolio with a strong background in applications development and implementation, as well as portals development. Prior to joining Sify, Venkata Rao was President and CEO of SoftPro Systems Ltd. During the course of his career, he has been instrumental in building award winning technology products for global markets, and establishing close relationships with Fortune 500 companies to deliver ICT solutions for verticals including Insurance, Retail and High Technology Sectors.

His rich experience includes the development and design of web applications and platforms for ecommerce, online marketing & branding, online data base functionalities for communities and online publishing tools across content management systems and learning management systems. He has actively evangelized systems using open source with both the corporate and learning communities. His career includes experience with start ups, MNCs and large & medium size organizations. Venkata Rao holds an MTech degree in Systems Engineering and is a first rank holder from the University of Mysore. He holds a BTech in Industrial Engineering from the same University. He is a founder member of the TiE Hyderabad Chapter, and is actively involved in mentoring technology start-ups in his spare time.

Kamal has more than 13 years of experience in delivering large eLearning solutions to global corporations. As the head of the Hi-Tech, Management, and Financial Practice verticals, he provides strategic guidance to the team.

He has extensive experience in delivering learning products for multilingual environments. Kamal is a certified Microsoft Systems Engineer and has worked as an IT trainer. He has worked on building cross-platform solutions that ensure collaborative learning and knowledge management for a global audience. Having been a trainer, Kamal understands student behavior and has helped devise learning strategies for several courses. He has worked with customers to ensure that the LMS system is successfully implemented and supported.

He has valuable, hands-on experience in managing clients such as Microsoft, UNDP, World Bank, HBSP, Cisco, DELL, Hyperion-Oracle, IBM-COGNOS, and Merck.

Kamal's strength lies in his ability to manage large projects with a focus on meeting client requirements within committed timelines and quality expectations.

Sandeep has more than 16 years of experience in program management, technical solutioning, and consultancy, and in setting up and managing business units.

His areas of expertise include CAD, animation, eLearning, and education-related technologies and business. He has vast experience in providing a range of creative and technical services to the Engineering and Entertainment industries. In his earlier assignments, he managed large-scale 3D and 2D animation productions for CD, web, and broadcast media. In the fields of training and education, he has contributed in managing computer training businesses.

He holds an engineering degree from MIT and post graduate diplomas in Advanced Computing from C-DAC and Advertising and Public Relation Management from Symbiosis.

Mahesh has more than 21 years of experience, which includes more than 12 years in information technology, including architecting, design, development, and project management of multi-tier web-based solutions. His domains of experience are web-based software applications, banking, finance, and learning management systems.

He is an expert in SDLC, standards, and practices for quality and experience with CMM level 5 processes. He translates business requirements into technological solutions and integrates new tools or gadgets in solutions.

Shailesh has more than 11 years of experience in eLearning content development, product management, and consulting. He has worked with companies like Zensar Technologies, Harbinger Knowledge Products, and Kalzoom Technologies to create innovative learning solutions around game design and deployment, mobile content design and deployment, business simulations, rapid content development products, collaborative learning initiatives, and multimedia design and development. He has led teams in the capacity of a Principal Architect, Chief Interaction Model Architect, Lead Consultant, and Head of Content Delivery.

At Sify, he participates in pre-sales activities and innovation exercises. He firmly believes that innovation enables people to see change as an opportunity, and not as a threat.

Manisha brings with her more than 19 years of experience in various IT areas, such as computer education, technical writing, and quality management programs (ISO 9001: 2000, SEI CMM, CMMI, and Six Sigma).

At Sify, she has established the basic framework of process by defining all key and supporting processes and the metrices for measuring process performances. She has also designed more than 33 process software applications that track business data.

Manisha's core competencies are business process modeling, strategizing data mining, performing data analysis, making data-based decisions, defining and evaluating process metrics, and ensuring continuous improvement. She conducts internal audits and facilitates senior management reviews and strategic planning workshops.

Manisha is a certified CSQA. She holds a Green Belt in Six Sigma, and her mission is to empower Sify with the best business process model. She enjoys every moment of her work–be it defining a new process aligned to the Balanced Score Card system or facilitating a brainstorming session.

Bala has more than10 years of experience in web portal designing and programming. Prior to Sify eLearning, he developed web portals and played a pivotal role in creating websites and web portal applications.

Currently, he manages the development of automation tools and creating an eLearning template that adheres to ADL standards. He specializes in troubleshooting LMS content and in building a test case for testing SCORM and AICC-wrapped content in various LMS products.

Gopal has 10 years of experience in IT testing in various organizations, such as WIPRO, POLARIS, and HCL. He has worked for clients such as Citibank PBG (US), Matrix One (US), KANA (US), Johnson & Johnson (US), RSS (Korea), HBOS (UK), and eSure (UK).

Gopal's areas of interest are test management, UAT, and delivery. He has extensive experience in customer relations, eLearning, and software testing, especially related to project/people management. Gopal holds a degree in computer science from the University of Madras, India.
